Section 311/312 of EPCRA requires facilities that have MSDSs for chemicals held above certain threshold quantities to submit annually a Tier II report form stating the locations and approximate quantities stored during the reporting period. EPCRA 313 requires facilities that manufacture, process or otherwise use toxic chemicals above certain thresholds to report annually how much of each chemical they managed through recycling, energy recovery, treatment and environmental releases. FRM offers both local and on-site classroom training on selected environmental media designed to meet the unique needs of a particular facility. In most cases, the training programs are developed as a supplement to a particular compliance plan such as an SPCC Plan, a Hazardous Waste Contingency Plan or a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan. Training sessions can be scheduled to accommodate all operating shifts. Each session includes written handouts for the participants.
FRM also administers the Georgia Soil & Water Conservation Commission Education and Certification courses for construction site erosion and sediment control. This certification is required for all companies/individuals involved in construction land disturbing activities. All initial certification courses last one to two full days and include a test that requires a 70-percent passing rate to be certified. The certification must be renewed every 3 years.
